September Team Building

Our Staff BBQ’s have become a regular occurrence and a wonderful way to build team spirit and maintain morale between our Left Coast Wholesale and Redwood Mushroom Supply teams. With the gorgeous Sonoma County weather, we’ve been setting up our back warehouse yard with a ping pong table, frisbee golf and corn hole. Top that off with a delicious catered meal and we’ve got ourselves a fun afternoon!
Our meal this month was catered by Rob Hogencamp at Three Leaves Heritage Foods. We’re blessed to make relations with this local company for a variety of reasons. First of all, it’s right around the corner, its owner and head chef is a Sonoma County local, they also support local, organic farmers and don’t have a speck of gluten in their kitchen. Not only did Rob work with us to get the right menu for our staff, he also took some of the Lion’s Mane grown in our mycology lab and made out-of-this-world “crab” cakes, specifically designed with our vegan staff mycologist in mind. We had quite a spread and will definitely be going back!
After we were nourished with food and company, we moved on to the entertainment. Luke, our Director of Business Development, took on the Shipping Dept in a game of frisbee. Chris, our Shipyard Manager, took on the Marketing Dept in a heated ping pong match. The rest of us cheered them on and had some great conversations.
We’re looking forward to our annual Holiday Party in December when we exchange Crazy Santa gifts!
